Why We Joined a Probus Club
Changes in family circumstances, negotiating retirement years and staying socially connected are challenges that confront us all and can sometimes leave a void in one’s life that is not always easy to fill. Surrounding yourself with like-minded people is always a good start and that’s exactly what led us to join the Knightsbridge/Glenhaven Probus Club. My wife and I were invited to attend the club as visitors where we immediately felt we were among like-minded individuals who share similar interests and values. It was apparent from the start that the diverse range of activities, including guest speakers, educational sessions, day trips, and social events are just a few of the reasons why there is always something that takes your interest and to look forward to. It’s not just about attending events - as a member of Probus, you will soon find a sense of belonging that builds lasting friendships.

Retirement can be lonely after many years in the workforce. Probus was recommended and after checking out clubs in my area I chose Knightsbridge Glenhaven as they have so many activities you can be as busy as you want.The members are helpful and friendly. I have been a member for 7 years and thoroughly recommend this club.
